How many photos can 32GB hold? That is a really good question and for those of you who are looking at buying that size memory card, I am pretty sure you would love to have an idea if the card will fill up quickly or not.
Well, it is a good thing you ended up on this page, as I have crafted a pretty in-depth guide, that will look at the storage capacity of the card, depending on the megapixel camera that you are using, among other things.
How Many Photos Can Fit on 32GB?
While this is not 100% accurate, it is still a pretty good estimate and you should have a general ballpark idea as to how much images will be stored on your 32GB card.
Estimates used:
1 MP = 1,000,000 pixels
1MB = 1,000,000 bytes, 1GB = 1,000MB
JPEG 100% Quality = Visually lossless JPEG compression with 1:10 ratio of RAW image

If you shoot using the RAW format with your DSLR, you are going to be able to store less, as you all know that the photos are not compressed.

After reading through, I am pretty sure that you now have a pretty good idea as to how much photos can be stored on the 32GB memory card. If you plan on getting this specific card for your phone or camera, you will have more or less a pretty good basis and insight into the storage capacity and from there you can definitely tell if this is a card that you need to own or not.

The amount of pictures that can hold will generally depend on the megapixel of the camera (other factors come into play, but for simplicity sake) If you know the megapixel, then you can get a ‘general’ idea of how many pictures will fit, based off the chart.
